Letter from the Principal

Dear Parents,

May you experience the blessings of our loving God each and every year you spend at St. Joseph Catholic School! Catholic schools across the country have established a reputation of excellence for their faith formation, academics, service, athletics, and extra-curricular activities. St. Joseph Catholic School challenges themselves to raise the bar on all of these. A supportive pastor and parish, dedicated principal, faculty, school staff and exemplary parents work together to do just that.

The drive behind us is God and everything we do must be done in the best interest of the children who will one day be our faith-filled leaders of a greater tomorrow. We all work diligently as a team to provide them with the best–our faith and an excellent curriculum. St. Joseph School is an important part of the parish. We are grateful to those parishioners who have graduated families from St. Joseph School and who continue to support and market Catholic school education as the first choice…and in particular—St. Joseph Catholic School. We are also grateful to parishioners, who, as they continue to support the Church, are committing themselves to supporting the school. Nothing here is possible without the support of parishioners, and we are humbled by their service to God and to their Catholic faith.

At St. Joseph Catholic School, we work together to create a learning environment rather than mere classrooms. Students are challenged daily to understand and use their God-given potential. We encourage students to see the face of Christ in each person they encounter and to serve them with a heart of love and compassion. We will continue to represent what we believe, teach beyond the ordinary, expect more than the usual, and love unconditionally. We will continue to open our doors of faith, education and service with warmth and compassion. Imagine—just several minutes from our ever-growing downtown Aurora who itself is fragrant with a rich history, there is a place that can offer children so much. St. Joseph Catholic School is very fortunate to be a part of the master works of God. Whether you are new to our school or a family with a long tradition at St. Joseph’s, we welcome you!

Most sincerely,

Nancy Coughlin
